A strong, physically capable, super-intelligent, observant, eccentric, over-analytical, under-emotional, drug abusing, irresponsible intellectual who despite his faults, is the world’s greatest detective (aside from Batman).
Sherlock Holmes, as written into the BBC reboot:
A very observant jerk.
